The reasons for the continuous early fracture on the surface of corrugated washers during use were analyzed from the aspects of chemical composition, microstructure, fracture morphology, hydrogen content, hardness, etc. Hydrogen embrittlement and tempering embrittlement verification tests were conducted on the same batch of parts to analyze the effects of hydrogen removal time, hydrogen content, hardness, and tempering temperature on the fracture morphology. At the same time, the influence of different hardness testing methods on the hardness value of waveform washers was analyzed.
